RESOLUTION NO. 2025-322
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF
SPECIFICATIONS, BID DOCUMENTS, FORM OF
CONTRACT, ETC., AND AUTHORIZING TO PROCEED IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE WATERLOO CONVENTION
CENTER FURNITURE PROJECT.
WHEREAS the City of Waterloo, Iowa, is undertaking the Waterloo Convention Center
Furniture Project to enhance the facility's functionality and aesthetic appeal; and
WHEREAS, detailed specifications, bid documents, and the form of contract for the
project have been prepared and duly reviewed by the relevant city departments to ensure they
meet the required standards; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the City Council to confirm approval of these documents
to authorize the commencement of the bidding process and subsequent project activities;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. The specifications, bid documents, and form of contract for the Waterloo Convention
Center Furniture Project are hereby approved as meeting the city's standards and requirements.
2. City staff is authorized to proceed with the bidding process in accordance with the
approved documents, ensuring compliance with all applicable procurement regulations and
procedures.
