RESOLUTION NO. 2025-326
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE AND
CONVEYANCE OF CITY-OWNED PROPERTY LOCATED AT
1131 BERTCH AVENUE TO E & C INVESTMENTS, LLC
(CESAR E. BARRIOS-GARCIA) IN THE AMOUNT OF
$5,000.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS the City of Waterloo owns certain real property located at 1131 Bertch
Avenue,which has been identified as suitable for sale and development; and
WHEREAS, E & C Investments, LLC, represented by Cesar E. Barrios-Garcia, has
agreed to purchase the property for the amount of$5,000.00; and
WHEREAS, the sale and conveyance of this property will facilitate further development
in the area, aligning with the community's development goals and economic growth strategies;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. The City of Waterloo is hereby authorized to sell and convey the property located at
1131 Bertch Avenue to E & C Investments, LLC (Cesar E. Barrios-Garcia) for the amount of
$5,000.00.
2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute said
documents on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of June 2025.
