RESOLUTION NO. 2025-330
RESOLUTION APPROVING A RENEWAL AGREEMENT
WITH WELLMARK BLUE CROSS BLUE SHIELD FOR FEES
ASSOCIATED WITH ADMINISTRATION, NETWORK
ACCESS, AND STOP LOSS, AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS the City of Waterloo provides health insurance benefits to its employees and
has an existing partnership with Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield for the administration of these
benefits; and
WHEREAS, Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield has proposed a Renewal Agreement
covering fees related to administration, network access, and stop loss insurance; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to approve this Renewal Agreement to
ensure continued comprehensive health insurance services for its employees;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. The Renewal Agreement with Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield, covering fees for
administration, network access, and stop loss, is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
