RESOLUTION NO. 2025-332
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE WATERLOO CEDAR
FALLS HOME CONSORTIUM AGREEMENT FOR PROGRAM
YEARS 2025-2028 AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS the City of Waterloo has a long-standing partnership with the City of Cedar
Falls through the Waterloo Cedar Falls Home Consortium, which facilitates the use of federal
HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) funds to develop affordable housing and
expand housing opportunities; and
WHEREAS, the Consortium Agreement for program years 2025-2028 outlines the roles,
responsibilities, and financial obligations of each party in administering the HOME program to
effectively address housing needs; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to approve the continuation of this
collaborative effort to enhance housing strategies and leverage federal resources for community
development;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. The Waterloo Cedar Falls Home Consortium Agreement for program years 2025-2028
is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said document on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
