RESOLUTION NO. 2025-333
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CORRIDOR FIRE
MARSHALS MOBILE FOOD VENDOR FIRE INSPECTION
AGREEMENT AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS the City of Waterloo recognizes the importance of ensuring the safety of its
citizens and visitors by maintaining fire safety standards, particularly concerning mobile food
vendors; and
WHEREAS, the Corridor Fire Marshals have developed a comprehensive Mobile Food
Vendor Fire Inspection Agreement aimed at enhancing fire safety compliance among vendors;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the terms and conditions of the Corridor Fire
Marshals Mobile Food Vendor Fire Inspection Agreement and finds it to be in the best interests
of the City and its residents to enter into said agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. The Corridor Fire Marshals Mobile Food Vendor Fire Inspection Agreement is hereby
approved.
2. The City Clerk's office and Fire Marshall are hereby directed to carry out the
administration, monitoring, and enforcement of the agreement as per its terms and conditions.
3. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said document on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
