RESOLUTION APPROVING ADDENDUM NO. 3 TO A
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH ROBINSON
ENGINEERING COMPANY OF INDEPENDENCE, IOWA,
ORIGINALLY EXECUTED APRIL 5, 2021, IN AN AMOUNT
NOT TO EXCEED $10,000.00, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
FY 2022 NORTH CROSSING AREA STUDY, CONTRACT NO.
1050, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK
TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS the City of Waterloo entered into a Professional Services Agreement with
Robinson Engineering Company on April 5, 2021, for services related to the North Crossing
Area Study, designated as Contract No. 1050; and
WHEREAS, Robinson Engineering Company has provided professional services
essential for advancing the objectives of the North Crossing Area Study, contributing to
infrastructure planning and development in FY 2022; and
WHEREAS, Addendum No. 3 to the Professional Services Agreement is proposed to
address additional services and tasks necessary to complete the study; and
WHEREAS, this addendum specifies an additional cost not to exceed $10,000.00,
ensuring compensation aligns with the expanded tasks, controlled within approved budget
allowances;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. Addendum No. 3 to the Professional Services Agreement with Robinson Engineering
Company, in an amount not to exceed $10,000.00, is hereby approved as part of the FY 2022
North Crossing Area Study, Contract No. 1050.
2. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
