RESOLUTION NO. 2012-1136
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE RECOMMENDATION OF
ACCEPTANCE AS TO WORK AND MATERIALS FURNISHED
BY DON GARDNER CONSTRUCTION CO., INC. OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
WATERLOO CENTER FOR THE ARTS WINDOW
REPLACEMENT, ACCEPTING THE WORK, AND
RELEASING THE $9,589.32 RETAINAGE.
WHEREAS, Don Gardner Construction Co., Inc. of Waterloo,
Iowa, has under contract with the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
furnished certain materials and performed labor at a total cost
of $191,786.47 in conjunction with the Waterloo Center for the
Arts Window Replacement, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of
Acceptance be and the same hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the retainage of $9,589.32 for the project
be hereby released.
