RESOLUTION NO. 2025-368
RESOLUTION APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
AGREEMENT WITH MAIN STREET WATERLOO, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $66,000.00, FOR FISCAL YEAR 2026, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo recognizes the value and contributions of Main Street
Waterloo in enhancing and revitalizing the downtown area through coordinated community and
economic development efforts; and
WHEREAS, a Professional Services Agreement in the amount of $66,000.00 has been
proposed for Fiscal Year 2026 to support the efforts and initiatives of Main Street Waterloo that
align with the city's strategic development goals; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the proposed agreement and determined it to
be in the best interests of the city and its residents to engage Main Street Waterloo in these
services;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. The City Council hereby approves the Professional Services Agreement with Main
Street Waterloo for the sum of $66,000.00 for Fiscal Year 2026.
2. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
