RESOLUTION NO. 2025-371
RESOLUTION APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
AGREEMENT WITH AECOM TECHNICAL SERVICES IN AN
AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $30,000.00, TO PERFORM ON -
CALL PLANNING AND ENGINEERING SERVICES AT THE
WATERLOO REGIONAL AIRPORT, AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the Waterloo Regional Airport requires ongoing planning and engineering
services to maintain and improve facility operations, safety, and compliance with federal, state,
and local regulations; and
WHEREAS, AECOM Technical Services has been identified as a qualified service
provider capable of delivering these essential on -call planning and engineering services; and
WHEREAS, a Professional Services Agreement has been proposed in an amount not to
exceed $30,000.00, allowing for flexibility and responsiveness to emerging airport needs; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the proposed agreement and determined it to
be in the best interests of the city to pursue this partnership to enhance airport operations and
infrastructure;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. The City Council hereby approves the Professional Services Agreement with
AECOM Technical Services for on -call planning and engineering services at the Waterloo
Regional Airport, in an amount not to exceed $30,000.00.
2. The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said documents on behalf of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa.
