RESOLUTION NO. 2025-376
RESOLUTION A RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESOLUTION
NO. 2025-110.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo has previously adopted Resolution
No. 2025-110 on February 17, 2025; and
WHEREAS, upon further consideration and review, the City Council has determined that
it is in the best interests of the City to rescind Resolution No. 2025-110 due to an amendment to
the State code allowing fireworks on July 3rd and 4th of each year and December 31 st; and
WHEREAS, rescinding this resolution will allow the City of Waterloo to change their
dates of use for fireworks to July 3rd and 4th and December 31 st to comply with the State code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. The City Council hereby approves rescinding Resolution No. 2025-376.
2. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
