RESOLUTION NO. 2025-351
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., SETTING
DATE OF BID OPENING AS JULY 3, 2025, AND DATE OF
PUBLIC HEARING AS JULY 7, 2025, IN CONJUNCTION
WITH THE FY 2025 PREFABRICATED SHELTER AT 512
UNIVERSITY AVENUE, CONTRACT NO. 1113, AND
INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of Waterloo, Iowa, is conducting the FY 2025
Prefabricated Shelter project at 512 University Avenue, Contract No. 1113; and
WHEREAS, preliminary plans, specifications, and a form of contract have been prepared
and filed with the City Clerk for approval; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to set a date for bid opening and a public hearing;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. The preliminary specifications and bid documents for FY 2025 Prefabricated Shelter
project at 512 University Avenue, Contract No. 1113, are hereby approved.
2. The date of bid opening is set for July 3, 2025, and a public hearing shall be held on
July 7, 2025, at 5:30 P.M., in the Harold E. Getty Council Chambers, for the purpose of
considering the FY 2025 Prefabricated Shelter project at 512 University Avenue, Contract No.
1113.
3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of said public hearing in accordance
with applicable laws and city policies, ensuring adequate notice to the public.
