RESOLUTION SETTING DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS
JULY 7, 2025, FOR THE SALE AND CONVEYANCE OF
CITY -OWNED PROPERTY LOCATED AT 512 N. BARCLAY
STREET, IN THE AMOUNT OF $15,200.00, TO DHANI RE
INVESTMENTS LLC, INCLUDING APPROVAL OF A
DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT FOR THE REHABILITATION
OF THE HOME, A GRANT OF $5,000.00 FOR PARTIAL
PURCHASE PRICE REFUND AND A GRANT OF $5,000.00
FOR INFILL HOUSING DEVELOPMENT, AND INSTRUCT
THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of Waterloo, Iowa, has considered the sale and conveyance
of city -owned property located at 512 N. Barclay Street to Dhani RE Investments LLC for the
amount of $15,200.00; and
WHEREAS, this transaction includes the approval of a Development Agreement for the
rehabilitation of the home located on said property, and a grant totaling $10,000.00, comprising a
$5,000.00 partial purchase price refund and a $5,000.00 infill housing development grant; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing is required to be set to consider the terms and conditions of
the sale, conveyance, and associated agreements;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. The date of the public hearing for the sale and conveyance of the property at 512 N.
Barclay Street to Dhani RE Investments LLC is hereby set for July 7, 2025.
2. The Development Agreement, including the grant of $5,000.00 for a partial purchase
price refund and a grant of $5,000.00 for infill housing development, is hereby preliminarily
approved subject to the outcomes of the public hearing.
3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of said public hearing in accordance
with applicable laws and city policies, ensuring adequate notice to the public.
