RESOLUTION NO. 2025-355
RESOLUTION APPROVING ACCEPTANCE OF
IMPROVEMENTS OF SAN MARNAN BUSINESS PARK 1ST
ADDITION, SUBMITTED BY CLAPSADDLE-GABER
ASSOCIATES, INC., AND PERFORMED BY RATHJE
CONSTRUCTION COMPANY AND CENTRAL STATES
CONCRETE, AND RECEIVE AND FILE TWO-YEAR
MAINTENANCE BONDS.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo has coordinated with Clapsaddle-Gaber Associates,
Inc., on improvements within the San Marnan Business Park 1st Addition; and
WHEREAS, Rathje Construction Company and Central States Concrete have completed
the specified improvements pursuant to the agreed contracts and specifications; and
WHEREAS, the necessary inspections have been carried out, confirming the
improvements meet the standards and requirements set by the City of Waterloo; and
WHEREAS, two-year maintenance bonds have been submitted as a guarantee of the
workmanship and materials;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. The City Council hereby approves and accepts the improvements related to the San
Marnan Business Park 1st Addition as submitted by Clapsaddle-Gaber Associates, Inc., and
completed by Rathje Construction Company and Central States Concrete.
2. The City Council acknowledges receipt of the two-year maintenance bonds and directs
the City Clerk to file them appropriately as security for the quality and durability of the
construction.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of June 2025.
