RESOLUTION NO. 2012-1185
RESOLUTION APPROVING REAL ESTATE PURCHASE
AGREEMENT WITH VERIDIAN CREDIT UNION OF
WATERLOO, IOWA AND DIRECTING EXECUTION OF
SAID AGREEMENT BY MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Real Estate Purchase Agreement dated December 17, 2012,
for the acquisition of 801-805 Commercial Street in the amount of
$102,000.00, with up to $10,000.00 in city environmental and
closing costs, and legally described as follows:
Lot No. 70 in Fractional Block No. 14, Original Plat on
the West Side of the Cedar River, in the City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, except that part
thereof lying southeasterly of the center line of the
party wall erected between Lots 69 and 70;
by and between Veridian Credit Union of Waterloo, Iowa and the
City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same is hereby approved, and
the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to execute the same in behalf
of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day f December, 2012.
