RESOLUTION NO. 2025-400
RESOLUTION TO APPROVE A REQUEST BY VJ
ENGINEERING ON BEHALF OF 3 STOOGES, LLC FOR THE
PRELIMINARY PLAT OF MARTIN ROAD SUBDIVISION, A
3-LOT INDUSTRIAL SUBDIVISION IN THE "M-2-P"
PLANNED INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT LOCATED AT 1330-1350
MARTIN ROAD.
WHEREAS VJ Engineering, acting on behalf of 3 Stooges, LLC, has submitted a
request for approval of the Preliminary Plat for the Martin Road Subdivision, located at 1330-
1350 Martin Road, which falls within the "M-2-P" Planned Industrial District; and
WHEREAS, the Preliminary Plat proposes the development of a 3-lot industrial
subdivision, consistent with the zoning and land use designations for the area; and
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo Planning and Zoning Commission has reviewed the
proposal and found it to be in compliance with the applicable zoning regulations and city
planning objectives; and
WHEREAS, the establishment of this subdivision will support industrial growth and
contribute to the economic development of the area, providing opportunities for business
expansion and job creation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. The Preliminary Plat of Martin Road Subdivision, provided by VJ Engineering on
behalf of 3 Stooges, LLC, is hereby approved.
2. The City Council acknowledges that the proposed development aligns with the city's
strategic plan for industrial growth and supports further development within the "M-2-P"
Planned Industrial District.
