RESOLUTION NO. 2025-386 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SALE AND CONVEYANCE OF CITY PROPERTY LOCATED AT 512 N. BARCLAY STREET, IN THE AMOUNT OF $15,000.00, TO DHANI RE INVESTMENTS LLC, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS. WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo owns certain real property located east of 512 N. Barclay Street, which is deemed suitable for conveyance to support local development initiatives; and WHEREAS Dhani RE Investments LLC has expressed interest in purchasing said property to facilitate development consistent with the City's land use plans and economic development objectives; and WHEREAS, the sale of the property for $15,000.00 is anticipated to promote future development and economic activities, thereby potentially increasing property tax revenues and benefitting the community; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the sale is in the best interest of the City and its residents in promoting urban development. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, that: 1. The City Council hereby approves the sale and conveyance of city -owned property located southeast of 512 N. Barclay Street to Dhani RE Investments LLC in the amount of $15,000.00. 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
