RESOLUTION NO. 2025-390
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., AND
AUTHORIZING TO PROCEED, IN CONJUNCTION WITH
THE FY 2026 AIRPORT FENCE RELOCATION PROJECT,
CONTRACT NO. 1133.
WHEREAS the City of Waterloo has developed comprehensive plans, specifications,
and a form of contract for the FY 2026 Airport Fence Relocation Project, Contract No. 1133, to
ensure enhanced safety and operational efficiency at the Waterloo Regional Airport; and
WHEREAS, these plans and specifications have been thoroughly reviewed and approved
by the City Council, outlining the necessary steps and standards for the relocation of airport
fencing in compliance with federal aviation regulations and safety protocols; and
WHEREAS, authorization to proceed is necessary to initiate project activities in
accordance with project timelines, ensuring minimal disruption to airport operations and
community relations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. The plans, specifications, form of contract, and associated documents for the FY 2026
Airport Fence Relocation Project, Contract No. 1133, are hereby confirmed as approved.
2. Authorization is granted to proceed with the implementation and execution of the FY
2026 Airport Fence Relocation Project as outlined in the approved documents, facilitating
necessary relocations for enhanced airport safety and compliance.
