RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., AND
AUTHORIZING TO PROCEED, IN CONJUNCTION WITH
THE FY 2025 PREFABRICATED SHELTER, CONTRACT NO.
1113.
WHEREAS the City of Waterloo has developed comprehensive plans, specifications,
and a form of contract for the FY 2025 Prefabricated Shelter, Contract No. 1113, aimed at
enhancing public facilities through the installation of prefabricated shelters at designated
locations; and
WHEREAS, these plans and specifications have been thoroughly reviewed and approved
by the City Council, outlining the necessary details for the design, construction, and installation
of the prefabricated shelters in compliance with local standards and community needs; and
WHEREAS, it is essential to confirm the approval of these documents to enable the City
to proceed with the project, ensuring timely delivery and installation to meet public facility
enhancements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. The plans, specifications, form of contract, and related documents for the FY 2025
Prefabricated Shelter, Contract No. 1113, are hereby confirmed as approved.
2. The City is authorized to proceed with the implementation and execution of the FY
2025 Prefabricated Shelter project as outlined in the approved documents, facilitating the
enhancement and expansion of public shelter facilities.
