The Retailers were given until July 21, 2025 to admit to the violation and pay the
civil penalty of$300.00. They also have the option of appearing for a hearing at the
August 4th City Council Meeting. The above Retailers have not contacted the City,
therefore a hearing must be held to assess the$300.00 civil penalty to each Retailer.
The Retailer will then be given 30 days from August 4th to pay the civil penalty and,
if not paid,will be suspended from selling tobacco products for a period of 14 days,
in addition to owing the $300.00 civil penalty.
