RESOLUTION NO. 2025-426
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE AUDIT ENGAGEMENT
LETTER WITH BERGANKDV FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
ENDING JUNE 30, 2025, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo is required to conduct an annual audit of its financial
statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations; and
WHEREAS, BerganKDV has been selected to perform the audit services for the fiscal
year ending June 30, 2025; and
WHEREAS, BerganKDV has submitted an Audit Engagement Letter outlining the scope,
objectives, responsibilities, and terms of the audit services to be provided for the City of
Waterloo; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo deems it beneficial and necessary
to approve the Audit Engagement Letter with BerganKDV.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. That the Audit Engagement Letter with BerganKDV for the fiscal year ending June 30,
2025, is hereby approved.
2. That the Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said agreement on behalf of the
City of Waterloo, Iowa.
