RESOLUTION RE -SETTING DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS
AUGUST 4, 2025, TO APPROVE A VACATE REQUEST BY
THE CITY OF WATERLOO TO VACATE A 20-FOOT
DRAINAGE EASEMENT ON LOTS 4 AND 5 OF WARP 2ND
ADDITION IN THE "M-2,P" PLANNED INDUSTRIAL
DISTRICT LOCATED AT AND ADJACENT TO 4050
LEVERSEE ROAD AND INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK TO
PUBLISH NOTICE.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo has received a request to vacate an existing 20-foot
drainage easement on Lots 4 and 5 of Warp 2nd Addition in the "M-2,P" Planned Industrial
District, located at and adjacent to 4050 Leversee Road; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to re -set the date of the public hearing to ensure adequate
notice and opportunity for public input regarding the proposed vacate request.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. That the date of the public hearing on the proposed vacate request is hereby re -set for
August 4, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. to be held at 715 Mulberry Street, Harold E. Getty Council
Chambers, City of Waterloo, Iowa.
2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of said public hearing in accordance
with applicable laws and city policies, ensuring adequate notice to the public.
