RESOLUTION NO. 2025-410
RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF BID TO BBB FLOW
CO. DBA USTDW, OF WALFORD, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT
OF $205,950.00, APPROVING THE CONTRACT, BOND AND
CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE, IN CONJUNCTION WITH
THE FY 2025 PREFABRICATED SHELTER, CONTRACT NO.
1113, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK
TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, bids have been solicited and received for the FY 2025 Prefabricated
Shelter, Contract No. 1113 in accordance with the established procedures; and
WHEREAS, BBB FLOW CO. DBA USTDW, of Walford, Iowa, submitted the lowest
responsible bid in the amount of $205,950.00; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to accept this bid and proceed with the
project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. That the bid submitted by BBB FLOW CO. DBA USTDW, in the amount of
$205,950.00, is hereby approved, and the contract is awarded for the FY 2025 Prefabricated
Shelter, Contract No. 1113.
2. That the contract, bond, and certificate of insurance from BBB FLOW CO. DBA
USTDW are hereby approved.
3. That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents
on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
