RESOLUTION NO. 2025-414
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., AND
AUTHORIZING TO PROCEED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
ASBESTOS ABATEMENT SERVICES PROJECT, CONTRACT
NO. AB-2025-07-09P.
WHEREAS, the plans, specifications, form of contract, and estimated cost have been
prepared for the Asbestos Abatement Services Project, Contract No. AB-2025-07-09P; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed and approved such plans, specifications, and
contract form, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards for asbestos
abatement; and
WHEREAS, the successful continuation of this project is vital for ensuring public health
and safety, as well as compliance with environmental regulations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. That the plans, specifications, and form of contract for the Asbestos Abatement
Services Project, Contract No. AB-2025-07-09P, are hereby confirmed and approved.
2. That the necessary steps to proceed with the Asbestos Abatement Services Project are
authorized, in accordance with the approved plans, specifications, and form of contract.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of July 2025.
