RESOLUTION NO. 2025-407
RESOLUTION SETTING DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS
AUGUST 4, 2025, FOR AN AMENDMENT TO THE FYE 2026
BUDGET, AND DIRECT THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH
NOTICE.
WHEREAS, it is deemed necessary to amend the budget of the City of Waterloo for the
fiscal year ending June 30, 2026 (FYE 2026), to reflect adjustments necessary for accurate
financial management and planning; and
WHEREAS, public input is essential to the budget amendment process, and thus a public
hearing is required to discuss these amendments.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. The Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall meet in the Harold E. Getty Council
Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 4th day of August 2025, for the
purpose of considering an amendment to the FYE 2025 budget.
2. That the City Clerk is hereby instructed to publish the required notice of the public
hearing as required by law.
