RESOLUTION NO. 2025-451
RESOLUTION APPROVING SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT
NO. 2 WITH AECOM, OF WATERLOO, IOWA, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $147,300.00, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY
2026 ANSBOROUGH AVENUE AND HIGHWAY 20
IMPROVEMENTS, CONTRACT NO. 1136, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo is engaging in necessary improvements to Ansborough
Avenue and Highway 20 under Contract No. 1136, as an integral part of FY 2026 infrastructure
enhancement efforts; and
WHEREAS, AECOM, a highly qualified engineering consulting firm, has been selected
to provide specialized services for these improvements, enhancing project delivery and
execution; and
WHEREAS, Supplemental Agreement No. 2 proposes additional services and
adjustments to the scope of work to further facilitate project needs, in the amount of
$147,300.00; and
WHEREAS, the City recognizes the importance of such agreements to meet timelines
and ensure the quality and completeness of the improvement projects, which are vital to
accommodating future growth and maintaining safe transportation corridors.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. Supplemental Agreement No. 2 with AECOM, for professional services amounting to
$147,300.00, related to the Ansborough Avenue and Highway 20 Improvements Project, is
hereby approved.
2. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said document on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
