RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONSTRUCTION -RELATED
SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH AECOM TECHNICAL
SERVICES, INC., OF WATERLOO, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT
OF $168,500.00, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
REPLACEMENT OF PASSENGER BOARDING BRIDGE
PROJECT, FAA AIP 3-19-0094-057-2025, AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo is undertaking the Replacement of Passenger Boarding
Bridge Project, an important infrastructure enhancement funded under FAA AIP 3-19-0094-057-
2025 to improve airport efficiency and passenger experience; and
WHEREAS, AECOM Technical Services, Inc., based in Waterloo, Iowa, has been
selected to provide construction -related services essential for the successful execution of this
project, ensuring adherence to technical and regulatory standards; and
WHEREAS, the agreement involves a scope of services valued at $168,500.00, including
project management, oversight, and other associated technical support tasks critical to project
outcomes; and
WHEREAS, approval of this agreement is integral to maintaining project timelines,
budget constraints, and quality assurance for this federally supported project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. The Construction -Related Services Agreement with AECOM Technical Services, Inc.,
amounting to $168,500.00 for the Replacement of Passenger Boarding Bridge Project, FAA AIP
3-19-0094-057-2025, is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said document on behalf of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of August 2025.
