RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT FOR
CONSTRUCTION -RELATED SERVICES WITH AECOM
TECHNICAL SERVICES, INC., OF WATERLOO, IOWA, FOR
A ZERO -DOLLAR CHANGE, MOVING FUNDS FROM
AECOM TO SUBCONTRACTOR, BRAUN INTERTEC, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE PAVEMENT REHABILITATION
PROJECT, FAA AIP NO. 3-19-0094-053 AND 3-19-0094-056,
AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS the City of Waterloo has entered into a Professional Services Agreement
with AECOM Technical Services, Inc., for construction -related services related to the Pavement
Rehabilitation Project under FAA AIP No. 3-19-0094-053 and 3-19-0094-056; and
WHEREAS, Amendment No. 1 proposes a reallocation of funds within the existing
contract, resulting in a zero -dollar change to the overall contract amount, to allow AECOM to
allocate funds to its subcontractor, Braun Intertec; and
WHEREAS, this reallocation is necessary to optimize project efficiency and ensure
expert execution of specific project components by Braun Intertec, thereby maintaining the
project's quality and compliance with FAA guidelines; and
WHEREAS, approval of this amendment facilitates project continuity and supports the
City's commitment to effective project management and use of specialized services in
infrastructure development.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement with AECOM Technical
Services, Inc., for a zero -dollar change, reallocating funds to subcontractor Braun Intertec, is
hereby approved.
2. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said document on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
