RESOLUTION NO. 2025-454
RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH
WINDCAVE INC., OF PHOENIX, ARIZONA, FOR PAYMENT
PROCESSING IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
INSTALLATION OF EMV CREDIT CARD READERS AT
WATERLOO REGIONAL AIRPORT AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS the Waterloo Regional Airport seeks to enhance its payment processing
infrastructure through the installation of EMV credit card readers, ensuring secure and efficient
transactions for customers; and
WHEREAS, Windcave Inc., based in Phoenix, Arizona, is a reputable provider of
payment processing solutions, offering technology and services compatible with the airport's
operational needs; and
WHEREAS, the proposed agreement will facilitate secure credit card processing, thereby
improving customer service and aligning with industry standards for transaction security; and
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the importance of upgrading payment systems
to meet customer expectations and enhance operational efficiency at the Waterloo Regional
Airport.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. The agreement with Windcave Inc. for payment processing services, associated with
the installation of EMV credit card readers at Waterloo Regional Airport, is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said document on behalf of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa.
