RESOLUTION NO. 2025-441
RESOLUTION APPROVING FYE 2026 BUDGET
AMENDMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo has conducted a thorough review of the financial
requirements and forecasts for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026 (FYE 2026); and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that amendments to the existing budget are necessary
to reflect changes in projected revenues and expenditures, align with new priorities, and ensure
fiscal responsibility and transparency; and
WHEREAS, the proposed budget amendments have been presented and reviewed, taking
into consideration the input from relevant stakeholders and the city's financial team.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. The City Council hereby approves the amendments to the FYE 2026 Budget as
submitted, making the necessary adjustments to various fund allocations, revenue projections,
and expenditure estimates.
2. The Finance Director is directed to implement the approved budget amendments in
accordance with the council's decision, ensuring all changes are accurately reflected in the city's
financial records and reports.
3. The Finance Director is instructed to file the amended budget with appropriate state
and local offices as required by law, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory
requirements.
