RESOLUTION NO. 2025-447
RESOLUTION APPROVING A TEMPORARY ACCESS
EASEMENT AGREEMENT WITH MCDONALD'S USA, LLC,
LOCATED AT AND ADJACENT TO 2222 LOGAN AVENUE,
AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, McDonald's USA, LLC, has requested a temporary access easement on
property located at and adjacent to 2222 Logan Avenue to facilitate McDonalds traffic access to
traverse across the city -owned property; and
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo recognizes the importance of granting such easements
to support local businesses while maintaining the orderly use and development of urban
infrastructure; and
WHEREAS, the terms and conditions of the temporary access easement have been
reviewed and found to be consistent with City policies, and will not adversely affect public
interests; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the City Council to formally approve the easement
agreement and authorize city officials to execute the necessary documents on behalf of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. The temporary access easement agreement with McDonald's USA, LLC, concerning
property located at and adjacent to 2222 Logan Avenue, is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said document on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
