RESOLUTION NO. 2025-448 RESOLUTION APPROVING A TEMPORARY EASEMENT AGREEMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $197.00 WITH C AND S PROPERTIES, LLC, LOCATED AT 1018 LA PORTE ROAD, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE LA PORTE ROAD PHASE II RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS. WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo is undertaking the La Porte Road Phase II Reconstruction Project, which necessitates the acquisition of temporary easements for construction activities; and WHEREAS, C and S Properties, LLC, the property owner of 1018 La Porte Road, has agreed to grant a temporary easement to the City in exchange for compensation in the amount of $197.00; and WHEREAS, the temporary easement will facilitate necessary construction and improvement activities while ensuring minimal disruption to property rights and maintaining project timelines; and WHEREAS, it is essential to formally approve and authorize the execution of the easement agreement to facilitate the progression of the La Porte Road Phase II Reconstruction Project. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, 1. The temporary easement agreement with C and S Properties, LLC, in the amount of $197.00, relating to the property located at 1018 La Porte Road, is hereby approved. 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said document on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
