RESOLUTION NO. 2012-1067
RESOLUTION APPROVING DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT
WITH FISCHELS HOLDINGS, LLC OF GILBERTVILLE,
IOWA AND DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID
AGREEMENT BY MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Development Agreement dated November 5, 2012, for the
sale and conveyance of city -owned property generally described as
1114 Jefferson Street and 1116-1118 Jefferson Street for $1.00,
plus costs, for the construction of a 6,300 square foot
commercial building, with a minimum taxable value of $180,000.00,
and tax rebates for 10 years at 60 percent, by and between
Fischels Holdings, LLC of Gilbertville, Iowa and the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same is hereby approved, and the Mayor
and City Clerk authorized to execute the same in behalf of the
City of Waterloo, Iowa.
