RESOLUTION SETTING DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR
MONDAY, OCTOBER 6, 2025, ON AN APPLICATION FOR A
STATE REVOLVING FUND LOAN AND TO MAKE
AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC THE CONTENTS OF AN
ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION DOCUMENT AND THE
CITY'S PROJECT PLAN AND INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK
TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
WHEREAS the City of Waterloo is considering applying for a State Revolving Fund
(SRF) loan to finance municipal projects that support the City's infrastructure and environmental
objectives; and
WHEREAS, it is essential to set a public hearing to gather community feedback, inform
citizens of the potential impact, and meet compliance requirements associated with the SRF loan
application process; and
WHEREAS, the City has prepared an environmental information document and a
comprehensive project plan, which must be made publicly available to ensure transparency and
provide vital information to stakeholders.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. The date for the public hearing on the application for a State Revolving Fund loan is
set for Monday, October 6, 2025.
2. The City shall make available to the public the full contents of the environmental
information document and the City's project plan, ensuring accessibility and clarity.
3. The City Clerk is instructed to publish the required notice of the public hearing in
accordance with legal publication requirements, ensuring timely and effective communication
with the community.
