WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, is committed to encouraging the development and utilization of existing vacant properties within the city limits to enhance community growth and economic development; and WHEREAS, 5 Bees, LLC, a prospective developer, has offered to purchase the said property for the nominal amount of $1 .00, with the intent to utilize the property in a manner consistent with city development goals; and WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of Waterloo to complete the conveyance of this property to facilitate investment and development initiatives. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, that: 1 . The sale and conveyance of the city-owned property located northeast of 326 West 14th Street to 5 Bees, LLC, for the sum of$1.00 is hereby authorized. 2.
