THE CITY OF WATERLOO ZON-
ING ORDINANCE, BY AMENDING
THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP RE-
FERRED TO IN SECTION 10-4-4.
APPROVING A REQUEST BY THE
CITY OF WATERLOO TO REZONE
APPROXIMATELY 0,15 ACRES OF
LAND FROM "R-2, C-Z' CONDI-
TIONAL ZONING DISTRICT TO "R-2"
ONE AND TWO FAMILY RESIDENCE
DISTRICT WEST OF 207 HOPE AV-
ENUE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATER-
LOO, IOWA AS FOLLOWS: That the
request by the City of Waterloo to
amend the official zoning map referred
to in section 10-4-4 to rezone approx-
imately 0.15 acres of land from "R-2.
C-Z' Conditional Zoning District to
"R-2' One -and Two -Family Residence
District west of 207 Hope Avenue. and
legally described as follows: GATES
PARK PLACE, LOT 10 BLOCK 1 EX-
CEPT WEST 2 FEET, in an effort to
clean up the zoning throughout the
city by getting rid of a conditional zon-
ing district that is no longer needed, is
hereby approved. This ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and
after its final passage, approval, and
publication as required by law.
Passed on August 18, 2025. and ef-
fective upon publication of this ordi-
nance.
