RECEIVING OF BIDS
Sealed proposals will be received
by the City Clerk of the City of Wa-
terloo, Kowa, at her office in the City
Hall of the sad City on the 4th day
of September, 2025 until 1:00 p,m.
for the construction of the FY 2026
SIDEWALK REPAIR ASSESSMENT
PROGRAM — ZONE 5A. Contract
No. 1127, ae described in detail in the
plans and specification now on file in
the Office of the City Clerk.
OPENING OF BIDS
All proposals received will be opened
in the Harold Getty Council Cham-
bers, second floor of City Hall, In the
City of Waterloo, Iowa, on the 4th day
of September 2025 at 1:00 p.m., and
the proposals will be acted upon at
such later time and place as may then
be fixed by the City Council. The bid
opening will be livestreamed on You -
Tube and made available on the city
webslte.
PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Coun-
cil of said City will conduct a pub-
lic hearing on the proposed plans.

of the above -described Improvement
project at 5:30 p.m. on the 15th day
of September 2025, said hearing to
be held In the Harold E. Getty Coun-
cil Chambers in City Hall In said City.
The proposed plans, specifications.
form of contract, and estimate of cost
for said improvements heretofore pre-
pared by the City of Waterloo are now
on file in the office of the City Clerk
for public examination, and any per-
son interested therein may file written
objection thereto with the City Clerk
before the date set for said hearing,
or appear and make objection thereto

set forth.
SCOPE OF WORK
The extent of the work involved is re-
moving and replacing PCC sidewalk
of various widths and thicknesses and
water valve repair within Zone 5A of
the City of Waterloos Sidewalk Repair
Program. This project is generally lo-
cated in an area bound by:
Sergeant Road (US Hwy 631- W.
Ridgeway Avenue - Kimball Avenue
- South City Limits - Sergeant Road
(US Hwy 63)

of Chapter 26 of the City Code of Lowe
and upon order to the City Council of
said Waterloo, Iowa, on the 18th day
of August 2025.
