RESOLUTION NO. 2025-498 RESOLUTION APPROVING A PERMANENT UTILITY EASEMENT AGREEMENT WITH SKH PROPERTIES, LLC, LOCATED AT 330 TOWER PARK DRIVE, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS. WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo requires the establishment of utility easements to support the infrastructure network and facilitate public utility services; and WHEREAS, SKH Properties, LLC, the owner of the property located at 330 Tower Park Drive, has agreed to grant a Permanent Utility Easement to the City to allow the installation, maintenance, and operation of utility lines and related infrastructure; and WHEREAS, the Easement Agreement outlines the rights and responsibilities of both the City and SKH Properties, LLC, ensuring the proper management of utilities while respecting property ownership; and WHEREAS, this easement is integral to enhancing the City's utility service capabilities and ensuring long-term infrastructure stability. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, that: 1. The Permanent Utility Easement Agreement with SKH Properties, LLC, for the property at 330 Tower Park Drive, is hereby approved. 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of September 2025.
