RESOLUTION NO. 2025-503
RESOLUTION APPROVING A TEMPORARY EASEMENT
AGREEMENT WITH VERIDAN CREDIT UNION, LOCATED
AT 233 FISHER DRIVE, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE WINN
STREET SANITARY SEWER EXTENSION PROJECT, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo is undertaking the Winn Street Sanitary Sewer
Extension Project to improve and extend the city's sanitary sewer infrastructure; and
WHEREAS, a temporary easement is required from Veridan Credit Union, located at 233
Fisher Drive, to facilitate the construction activities associated with the sewer extension; and
WHEREAS, the temporary easement agreement with Veridan Credit Union outlines the
rights granted to the City for access and construction purposes during the specified timeframe,
ensuring minimal disruption and clear communication between the parties; and
WHEREAS, obtaining this temporary easement is crucial for the timely and efficient
completion of the Winn Street Sanitary Sewer Extension Project, thereby enhancing public
utility services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. The Temporary Easement Agreement with Veridan Credit Union, for property located
at 233 Fisher Drive, necessary for the Winn Street Sanitary Sewer Extension Project, is hereby
approved.
2. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
