RESOLUTION NO. 2025-504
RESOLUTION APPROVING A RELEASE OF A MORTGAGE
BETWEEN THE CITY OF WATERLOO AND CENTRAL
PROPERTY HOLDINGS, LLC FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT
221 FRANKLIN STREET, AND AUTHORIZE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo previously entered into a mortgage agreement with
Central Property Holdings, LLC, concerning the property located at 221 Franklin Street; and
WHEREAS, the terms and conditions of the mortgage have been satisfied, and it is
deemed appropriate to execute a Release of Mortgage to formally discharge the property from
the obligations of the mortgage; and
WHEREAS, executing this release will provide Central Property Holdings, LLC with
clear title to the property, thus facilitating any future transactions or developments.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. The Release of Mortgage between the City of Waterloo and Central Property
Holdings, LLC for the property located at 221 Franklin Street is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
