RESOLUTION NO. 2012-1105
RESOLUTION APPROVING ABATEMENT OF ASSESSMENTS
FOR PARCEL NUMBERS 8913-24-204-008, 8913-24-
151-003 AND 8913-22-352-003 IN THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA, that the following assessments be and the same are hereby
abated:
Parcel No. 8913-24-204-008 (702 N. Barclay Street)
Peeks Addition Lot 5 Block 2, all in the City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
Weed Assessment - $182.50
Parcel No. 8913-24-151-003 (602 Loqan Avenue)
Railroad Addition Waterloo South 99 feet Lot 6 Block 7
South 99 feet Lot 7 Block 7, all in the City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
Weed Assessment - $111.62
Parcel No. 8913-22-352-003 (2222 Falls Avenue
First Addition to Galloway Lots 211 and 212 except
alley Lots 213 thru 216 including Lots 237 thru 240
including all of Lot 241 except that part lying
Easterly of the following described line commencing at
a point on the Northerly line of Lot 241 that is 24
feet Northwesterly of the Northeast corner of Lot 241,
thence Southerly to a point on the Southerly line of
Lot 241 that is 1.38 feet Northwesterly of the
Southeast corner of Lot 241 that portion of vacated
alley between the East line of Lot 213 and 240 and
Westerly to extension of West lot line of Lots 218 and
237 and except that part to City of Waterloo as
described in City Land Deed Book 493 Page 295 and in
City Land Deed Book 505 Page 652, all in the City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
Weed Assessment - $156.00
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the assessments be and the same
hereby cancelled and the City Clerk be and she is hereby directed
to notify the Black Hawk County Treasurer of said cancellation.
