RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING TO BE GIVEN ON APPLICATION OF WAYNE
CLAASSEN ENGINEERING AND SURVEYING, INC. ON
BEHALF OF COOLEY AND COOOLEY REAL ESTATE, LC,
TO REZONE FROM "R-3" MULTIPLE RESIDENCE
DISTRICT TO "C -2,C -Z" CONDITIONAL ZONING
DISTRICT APPROXIMATELY 0.386 ACRES OF LAND
GENERALLY LOCATED AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF
WEST 7TH STREET AND SOUTH STREET, AS
DECEMBER 3, 2012, AT 5:30 P.M. IN THE COUNCIL
CHAMBERS IN CITY HALL AND INSTRUCTING CITY
CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF HEARING.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 3rd day of December, 2012,
for the purpose of considering and acting upon an application of
Wayne Claassen Engineering and Surveying, Inc. on behalf of
Cooley and C000ley Real Estate, LC, to rezone from "R-3" Multiple
Residence District to "C -2,C -Z" Conditional Zoning District
approximately 0.386 acres of land generally located at the
southwest corner of West 7th Street and South Street, and legally
described as follows:
Lots 1 and 2, Block 13 of Does Addition, Waterloo,
Black Hawk County, Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
Notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of November, 2012.
