RESOLUTION NO. 2025-385
RESOLUTION APPROVING A DEVELOPMENT
AGREEMENT WITH BKKS HOLDINGS LLC, FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF A TOTAL OF 94,100 SQUARE FEET OF
STORAGE DEVELOPMENT ON LOTS 34-39 (6.5 ACRES) OF
WATERLOO AIR AND RAIL PARK 4TH ADDITION, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS BKKS Holdings LLC has presented a proposal for the construction of
storage facilities totaling 94,100 square feet on Lots 34-39 of Waterloo Air and Rail Park 4th
Addition, comprising approximately 6.5 acres; and
WHEREAS,the Development Agreement outlines the conditions, responsibilities, and
obligations of both the City and BKKS Holdings LLC, ensuring that the construction and
operation of the facilities comply with City regulations and community standards; and
WHEREAS, it is in the City's best interest to enter into this Development Agreement to
facilitate the growth and expansion of services and facilities within Waterloo.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa,that:
1. The Development Agreement with BKKS Holdings LLC for the construction of
94,100 square feet of storage facilities on Lots 34-39 of Waterloo Air and Rail Park 4th Addition
is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of July 2025.
