RESOLUTION NO. 2025-533
RESOLUTION APPROVING AN ADDENDUM TO THE
CURRENT CONTRACT WITH PER MAR SECURITY FOR
THE WASTE MANAGEMENT SERVICES PLANT,
EXTENDING THE CONTRACT FOR THREE (3) YEARS AND
OUTLINING RATE INCREASES EACH YEAR, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo has an existing contract with Per Mar Security for
services at the Waste Management Services Plant, identified as Contract No. [Contract Number];
and
WHEREAS, the City desires to extend the services provided by Per Mar Security for an
additional three (3) years to ensure continued safety and operational efficiency at the Waste
Management Services Plant; and
WHEREAS, the parties have negotiated an addendum to the existing contract that
specifies annual rate increases; and
WHEREAS, the proposed addendum outlines all terms and conditions for the contract
extension, ensuring they meet the requirements and policies of the City of Waterloo; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to approve the execution of said
addendum by the Mayor to facilitate the continued provision of essential security services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. The addendum to the current contract with Per Mar Security is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute said document on behalf of the
City of Waterloo, Iowa.
