RESOLUTION NO. 2025-512
RESOLUTION APPROVING CANCELLATION OF
SIDEWALK ASSESSMENTS FOR PROPERTIES LOCATED
AT 1029 GRANT AVENUE, IN THE AMOUNT OF $316.73,
1412 COMMERCIAL STREET, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$1,024.72, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO
NOTIFY BLACK HAWK COUNTY TREASURER OF SAID
CANCELLATION.
WHEREAS, the properties located at 1029 Grant Avenue and 1412 Commercial Street in
the City of Waterloo have sidewalk assessments levied against them for the amounts of $316.73
and $1,024.72, respectively; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the City Council that these assessments require
cancellation as payment was received in full at the City Clerk's office prior to the deadline.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. The sidewalk assessment in the amount of $316.73 for the property located at 1029
Grant Avenue is hereby canceled.
2. The sidewalk assessment in the amount of $1,024.72 for the property located at 1412
Commercial Street is hereby canceled.
3. The City Clerk is authorized and directed to notify the Black Hawk County Treasurer
of the cancellation of the aforementioned assessments.
