RESOLUTION NO. 2025-516
RESOLUTION AWARDING BID TO IOWA WALL SYSTEMS,
INC. OF WATERLOO, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$12,100.00, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE VETERANS
MEMORIAL PAINTING AND HALL REPAIR AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo recognizes the importance of maintaining and repairing
public facilities, including the Veterans Memorial, as a means to honor the sacrifices of veterans
and maintain community heritage; and
WHEREAS, competitive bidding was conducted in accordance with applicable laws and
city ordinances for the necessary painting and hall repair work required at the Veterans
Memorial; and
WHEREAS, Iowa Wall Systems, Inc. of Waterloo, Iowa, submitted the lowest
responsible bid in the amount of $12,100.00 for the Veterans Memorial painting and hall repair
project; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of Waterloo deems it in the best interest of the community
to award the contract to Iowa Wall Systems, Inc. for the stated amount.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. The bid submitted by Iowa Wall Systems, Inc. in the amount of $12,100.00 for the
Veterans Memorial painting and hall repair project is hereby accepted and awarded.
2. The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said document on behalf of the Cit of
Waterloo, Iowa.
