RESOLUTION NO. 2012-1027 RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT WITH FISCHELS HOLDINGS LLC TO SELL AND CONVEY FOR $1.00, PLUS COSTS, CITY -OWNED PROPERTY GENERALLY DESCRIBED AS 1114 JEFFERSON STREET AND 1116- 1118 JEFFERSON STREET, FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A 6,300 SQUARE FOOT COMMERCIAL BUILDING, WITH A MINIMUM TAXABLE VALUE OF $180,000.00, AND TAX REBATES FOR 10 YEARS AT 60 PERCENT, AS NOVEMBER 5, 2012, AT 5:30 P.M. IN CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS, WATERLOO, IOWA AND INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF HEARING. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 5th day of November, 2012, for the purpose of considering and acting upon a proposed Development Agreement with Fischels Holdings LLC to sell and convey for $1.00, plus costs, city -owned property generally described as 1114 Jefferson Street and 1116-1118 Jefferson Street, for the construction of a 6,300 square foot commercial building, with a minimum taxable value of $180,000.00, and tax rebates for 10 years at 60 percent, and legally described as follows: Riaht of First Refusal ProDert Lot 1, in Block 44, Original Plat on the West Side of the Cedar River, City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa; Property Beina Conveved to Fischels Holdinas LLC Lots 2 and 3, in Block 44, Original Plat on the West Side of the Cedar River, City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa. Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
