RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING TO BE GIVEN ON THE PROPOSED AMENDED
AND RESTATED LEASE AGREEMENT WITH THE TWIN
SPORTS GROUP, INC. AND THE NORTHWOODS LEAGUE
INC. FOR LEASE OF THE WATERLOO RIVERFRONT
STADIUM, AS NOVEMBER 5, 2012, AT 5:30 P.M. IN
THE CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS IN CITY HALL
AND INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH
NOTICE OF HEARING.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 5th day of November, 2012,
for the purpose of considering and acting upon the proposed
Amended and Restated Lease Agreement with The Twin Sports Group,
Inc. and the Northwoods League, Inc. for lease of the Waterloo
Riverfront Stadium at a cost of $1,250.00 per month, for the
period August 31, 2013 through August 31, 2018.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of October, 2012.
