RESOLUTION NO. 2012-1053
RESOLUTION APPROVING REAL ESTATE PURCHASE
AGREEMENT WITH STICK BROTHERS, L.L.C. OF
HUDSON, IOWA AND DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID
AGREEMENT BY MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Real Estate Purchase Agreement dated October 22, 2012,
for the acquisition of approximately 20 acres of land identified
as parcel numbers 8913-10-251-017 and 8913-10-276-006 in the
amount of $1.00, with up to $5,000.00 in city environmental and
closing costs, and legally described as follows:
The Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of the
Northeast Quarter of Section No. 10; and the Southwest
Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast
Quarter of Section No. 10; all in Township No. 89
North, Range No. 13 West of the 5th Principal Meridian,
in Black Hawk County, Iowa;
by and between Stick Brothers, L.L.C. of Hudson, Iowa and the
City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same is hereby approved, and
the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to execute the same in behalf
of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of October, 2012.
