RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING ON ADOPTION OF AN ORDINANCE AMENDING
THE CITY CODE OF ORDINANCE OF TITLE 1,
ADMINISTRATION, CHAPTER 3, GENERAL PENALTY,
SECTION 2, MUNICIPAL INFRACTION, AND OF
TITLE 3, BUSINESS AND LICENSE REGULATIONS,
CHAPTER 2, LIQUOR CONTROL, SECTION 11,
PENALTIES, AND AMENDING THE CITY OF WATERLOO
ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 5079 IN 10-32-2,
VIOLATIONS AND PENALTIES - INCREASING THE
CIVIL PENALTY FOR VIOLATIONS RELATED TO
ALCOHOL SALES REGULATIONS, AS NOVEMBER 5,
2012, AT 5:30 P.M. IN CITY HALL COUNCIL
CHAMBERS, WATERLOO, IOWA, AND INSTRUCTING
THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF
HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
shall meet in City Hall Council Chambers in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 5th day of November, 2012,
for the purpose of adopting an Ordinance amending the City Code
of Ordinance of Title 1, Administration, Chapter 3, General
Penalty, Section 2, Municipal Infraction, and of Title 3,
Business and License Regulations, Chapter 2, Liquor Control,
Section 11, Penalties, and amending the City of Waterloo Zoning
Ordinance No. 5079 in 10-32-2, Violations and Penalties -
increasing the civil penalty for violations related to alcohol
sales regulations.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to
publish notice of the time and place of said hearing in the
Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of October, 2012.
