RESOLUTION SETTING DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS
OCTOBER 20, 2025, TO APPROVE A SITE PLAN
AMENDMENT REQUEST BY PELLA BUILDING SYSTEMS
ON BEHALF OF BKKS HOLDINGS, TO CONSTRUCT A
STORAGE FACILITY IN "M-2,P" PLANNED INDUSTRIAL
DISTRICT LOCATED EAST OF 155 WARP DRIVE AND
INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
WHEREAS, Pella Building Systems, on behalf of BKKS Holdings, has submitted a
Site Plan Amendment request for the construction of a storage facility in the "M-2,P" Planned
Industrial District located east of 155 Warp Drive; and
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo requires a public hearing be held to consider site plan
amendments in accordance with zoning and planning regulations to ensure that the proposed
developments align with community standards and objectives; and
WHEREAS, setting the date for a public hearing will allow for public feedback and any
necessary examination of the impact of such development on the local community and
infrastructure.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. A public hearing on the proposed Site Plan Amendment is hereby set for October 20,
2025, to consider the Site Plan Amendment request for the construction of a storage facility by
Pella Building Systems, on behalf of BKKS Holdings.
2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of said public hearing in accordance
with applicable laws and city policies, ensuring adequate notice to the public.
